These are new outboard lower units (gearcases) designed for Johnson and Evinrude V6 engines from 150-250 HP, covering models from 1979 to 2019. Each unit comes with a 1-year limited warranty for peace of mind.

Key Features and Components:

• Drive Shaft: These lower units do not include a drive shaft (a replacement top drive shaft can be purchased separately). Reuse your existing drive shaft and shift shaft—they snap into place easily.
• Water Pump: A water pump is included but not pre-installed. Simply install the water pump, add gear oil, and you're ready to go.
• Compatibility Notes: V6 gearcases in this range typically feature a large hub with a 4-5/8" to 4-3/4" propeller shaft hub diameter and 15 splines. If your setup requires a specific configuration (e.g., small hub with 13 splines), contact us to confirm fitment—these are more common in V4 models but may apply to some older V6 variants.
