Johnson Evinrude 150-250HP ETEC & O-TYPE V6 lower unit years 1979-2019

These are new or rebuilt outboard lower units (gearcases) for Johnson and Evinrude V6 engines in the 150-250 HP range, including E-TEC models and older crossflow/loopers from 1979 to 2019, plus the MAG 2 gearcase (2008-2019).

Key Features:

• Warranty: Every unit includes a 2-year warranty. Choose "3-Year Warranty" above to add a third year.
• Top Driveshaft: Not included unless you add one above.
  • 1979-1991 crossflow/looper: a replacement top driveshaft is required. Choose the 20" or 25" "1991 & earlier" shaft. Reuse your existing shift rod.
  • 1992 and newer looper/crossflow/E-TEC: the upper shaft snaps in, so you can reuse yours and your shift rod, or add a new "1992 & later" shaft and skip removing the old one.
  • 60° engines: choose the "60 Degree" shaft.
• Water Pump: Included but not pre-installed. Install the water pump, add gear oil, and the unit is ready for service.
• Gear Ratio: Commonly 1.86:1 (ask for specific ratios and other specs when ordering).
• Propeller Shaft Specs (typical for V6 large gearcase/O-type): 4-5/8" to 4-3/4" hub diameter with 15 splines.
• Shipping: Free shipping. Normally ships directly from the manufacturer.
