Genuine Yamaha 2M — the gold standard for HPDI, carb’d, and oil-injected Yamaha outboards.
Why Yamaha owners refuse substitutes
- Semi-synthetic TC-W3 – unmatched lubrication + extreme anti-rust armor
- Top-tier protection – beats every other TC-W3 in shear stability & film strength
- Built for abuse – WOT heat, saltwater soak, 200-hour seasons
- NMMA TC-W3 certified – exceeds 1997+ industry specs
- Warranty-proof – only oil Yamaha trusts in F150, F200, VF250, etc.

FAQs
Can I use this in my Evinrude or Mercury 2-stroke? Technically yes (TC-W3), but no — use Sierra 18-9530-3 (DI) or 18-9500-3 (pre-mix). Yamaha 2M is over-engineered and over-priced for non-Yamaha engines.
What about 100:1 ratio on older Yamahas? Never. 2M is tuned for 50:1. Use Yamalube 2S or Sierra Full Synthetic for 100:1 vintage models.
Switching from another TC-W3? Run one tank at 40:1 to flush, then resume 50:1. No pump adjustments needed.
